Nutter Butter

The development and launch of Nutter Butter’s social presence was part of a larger campaign celebrating the brand’s 50th Birthday and can be viewed here. Below are some of the social specific tactics for the program.

Leading up to the launch of our limited-edition packaging and Johnny Cupcakes pop-ups, we rebuilt Nutter Butter’s social presence from the ground up, bringing the cookie to life through the last five decades on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook while uncovering and growing a cult following of Millennial and Gen Z fans, in addition to the O.G. nutty cookie lovers.

PINTEREST


Our Pinterest campaign featuring the videos above and the still images below garnered ~29M impressions with 1.4M engagements, performing well over benchmarks for the platform with Pinners saving Nutter Butter pins across a variety of boards with a few central themes—desserts, nostalgia, and humor, revealing Pinners find the brand playful and funny!

SURPRISE & DELIGHT


We slid into the DMs of 115 of our most engaged, die-hard fans with a special treat to thank them for their support leading to a 16% increase in followers and 47% increase of positive brand sentiment on Instagram (compared to 9% and 34% respectively during a similar period of time). We saw similar results on Twitter.

s’mores back up posts


Mondelez regularly partners with social media influencers and in the event the influencer content is not produced and/or approved in time for launch, we typically create a few back up post options, just in case. The creative below was created as “back up” for a 5/21 launch, leveraging existing style guide assets from the S’mores Come Together toolkit.

sony pictures: outlander


I partnered with Momentum’s New York office to create a series of various social posts for the Starz hit drama, Outlander, and the release of its holiday box set—little did they know, I’m a huge Outlander fan, so I was beyond excited! Posts were created for the Starz, Sony Pictures, and Amazon Prime Video social accounts.

We also created a “kit” for Outlander fan pages to help us generate awareness for the show and promote the release of the holiday box set outside of our branded pages. We provided all of the creative featured above and everyone’s favorite, these memes to the right.
